Pressing on the Rocker or Lever causes the Inverting Spring to go through a unique "S" shape movement. This allows and causes the Spring to snap between inverted-up and inverted-down positions. Attachment of a Slider to the Spring provides a point of contact to pinch the tubing closed. If any cold flow in the tubing should occur over time while in the pinched closed position, the Inverting Spring automatically extends further to keep the tubing pinched closed. Higher or lower pinching forces can be provided by making the Spring either thicker or thinner.
